To the Editor: Inhibitors of epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFRs) are new drugs that
treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). These drugs, namely erlotinib (Tarceva; Roche,
Basel, Switzerland), induce an acneiform eruption associated with prolonged survival. We
describe this acneiform rash in our patient, reviewing its prognostic implications and
treatment.
