OBJECTIVE: Development of a mouse line permitting live imaging of cells expressing
CD41/GpIIb as a means to study megakaryopoiesis. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The
gene encoding yellow fluorescent protein (eyfp) was inserted by homologous recombination
into embryonic stem cells at the start site of the gpIIb locus. A knockin mouse line,
