Prostacyclin (PGI 2), the major product of cyclooxygenase in macrovascular endothelium,
mediates its biological effects through its cell surface G protein-coupled receptor, the IP.
PKC-mediated phosphorylation of human (h) IP is a critical determinant of agonist-induced
